Occupational Therapy

Approach combines specialized oncology training with personal experience, allowing both evidence-based and compassionate care to be provided

Manual lymphatic drainage massage to facilitate lymphatic flow and improve swelling, healing and overall energy level.

Applies techniques to soften tissues, decrease adhesions, promote scar mobility and enhance range of motion/strength.

Utilizes strategies to facilitate relaxation along with instruction on coping tools to improve quality of life

Massages are adapted to each person's unique needs; adjustments are made for tumor sites, surgical scars, ports and PICC lines, radiation or chemo side effects, bone metastases.
